Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Modeling

Maira Khalid’s current research focuses on the development of iterative methods for solving nonlinear equations. She is currently serving as a Lecturer at Times Institute, Multan, a position she has held since October 21, 2024.

She has extensive teaching experience across several institutions. She worked as a Lecturer at NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology (Petroleum Department) from 2019 to 2021 and continued as a Visiting Lecturer from 2021 to 2024. She has also taught at the University of Education (UE), Multan, from Spring 2022 to Spring 2024. In addition, she served as a Visiting Lecturer at BZU Multan in the Departments of Computer Engineering and Education, and has one year of teaching experience at Women University Multan.

Maira Khalid has published five research articles in the field of numerical analysis. She has assisted four MPhil students in their research and is currently supervising one MPhil student. Her research interests include iterative methods, convergence analysis, and solving nonlinear equations.
