The International Conference on Applied Physics and Mathematical Modeling (CONF-APMM 2023) was a hybrid conference which includes several workshops around the world. Dr. Jie Zhang from University of Bath, and Dr. Mustafa ISTANBULLU from Çukurova University have chaired these workshops on related topics. CONF-APMM 2023 provided the participants with good opportunities to exchange ideas and build networks, and it will lead to further collaborations between both universities and other societies.
Workshop Chair: Dr. Jie Zhang, Associate Professor in University of Bath
The workshop titled "Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning" took place on August 8, 2023 at University of Bath. This workshop will bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals to discuss the latest research, technologies, and applications of MARL. It will provide a platform for them to share their latest findings, ideas, and ongoing work. The workshop provides opportunities for participants to meet and network with colleagues, establish collaborations, and build professional relationships. We expect to explore emerging trends and topics, identify research gaps, and brainstorm potential solutions or directions for future investigations. Finally, the workshop will contribute to forming and strengthening research communities by bringing together like-minded individuals who aim to develop intelligent and adaptive agents that can effectively navigate complex multiagent systems.
Workshop Chair: Dr. Mustafa ISTANBULLU, Assistant Professor in Çukurova University
The workshop titled "Process Modelling and Simulation for Semiconductor Microfabrication" took place on July 14, 2023 at Çukurova University. The goal of this workshop is to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of a process modeling software tool and its applications in simulating and optimizing semiconductor device fabrication processes. By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and hands-on experience to effectively leverage this tool in their own research, development, and industrial projects related to semiconductor device fabrication.
